Our standard

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Every release is checked with automated tests and by hand before it goes live.

What this means for you

• Every part of the site works with a keyboard, and a "Skip to content" link is available at the top of each page.
• Pages work with screen readers, with headings, labels and descriptions for images that carry meaning.
• Text and controls meet colour contrast requirements, and you can zoom to 200% without losing content.
• Animations are switched off if your device is set to reduce motion.
• The site is built to load quickly on mobile phones and slower connections.

Known limitations

Some links lead to sites we do not run, such as our community forum and GitLab, which may not meet the same standard. If you find anything on this site that is hard to use, please tell us.
